Replacing Shocks On A Jeep Liberty

Mexico City Games may change the world!! Trying to upload games

Hi

write on this occasion to talk about something that has greatly motivated and inspired. I recently saw a video TED ( here ) in which a PhD from Carnegie Mellon argues that video games can be used to save the world. The doctor talks about the time you play video games, plus the invested resources, man hours and creativity developed to save virtual worlds such as World of Warcraft, the most played online game in history. Dr. Jane MacGonigal presents clear and concise points about this reality:

1 .- currently playing 3,000,000,000 hours a week online games.
2 .- Within the game you know that you have your teammates to achieve a common goal.
3 .- Given the history of World of Warcraft and counting the hours played by all players, have spent 5.93 million man-years, solving the problems of the world of Azeroth. This takes a lot of time there?
4 .- In a country like the U.S. (similar to Mexico in terms of gamers) a tough gamer has played 10,000 hours when they are 21 years old. This is equivalent to 4,807 years engaged for 8 hours daily 5 days a week. This is equivalent to having studied a full career (except medicine).
5 .- Within the game there is no thought "It'll make it," It's impossible " (Imposibilísimo) or "I can not change the world." It is possible to make games that allow players to have the same feeling about the real world.

all sounds "crazy" but has a very deep sense of truth, and the best part is they have created an Institute for the Future. " In this institute are developing games that are intended to encourage the creativity of the players to save the real world with real problems such as shortage of food or the global economy. These games have been used to obtain new ideas to the challenges of today's society.
