Hello
For the moment I'm writing the thesis (PhD) and to finish this process has been done long, long, so I find little time to wander here with you, but I did not want to miss this month not tell something.
Within the industry of 3D animation and video games is leading the need to create 3D models of everything from the characters, costumes, weapons, up scenarios complete as cities, planets, galaxies and other whole, so that in this short article I talk to them about Blender 3D ( http://www.blender.org/ ).
Blender 3D is a 3D modeling software, which initially tried to be a video game engine to include the modeling, but to make a software that includes both parties and meets the expectations of current users is impossible. Thus evolved more in Blender 3D design hand using the game system for animation and cool effects, and of course play (easily). Ahhh but I have not told the main feature of this software, this software is that it is free and open to the features it has, like the fact that programmers around the world working on it to create new features, fix bugs and improve the program's features.
In an article last software I mentioned this to compare with 3DStudio, and the main difference that was mentioned was the co $ to (check it below), and the results really can not see any difference between the two, except for immense difference of tutorials and free help with Blender counts, so I think is a very practical and useful option for purposes that concern us here (Science and Video Games).
This image made it myself in 5 minutes If you want to download the newest version to date (2.46) go to the http://www.blender.org/ looking tutorials and if there some very good videos on youtube made by Super3Boy ( www. youtube .com / watch? v = xYkaHylMPdc )
